1st Strand did their Annual kloofing expedition in the Helderberg Mountains on Sunday 2011-02-27. We had a bit of a late start and only got into the Kloof later than planned, but the water was wonderful as it was the warmest we have experienced it in some years now. We had some wonderful swims and had lunch in the shade just before Junction pool. We did not see any Disa’s but did see a white King protea along the route.
Here are some photo’s to whet your appetite for next years kloofing expedition.
