Our yearly kloofing hike is always a great hit and this year was no exception!
We managed to attract 18 hikers!
We manually tried to straighten the group photo because the tree holding the camera was skew!
It did not work so well.
We took the trail for the blind and rested before starting up the jeep track
Then we started up the Jeep track.
Finally we get to the Boegoekloof river and start kloofing!
The part that is always exciting is the jump into the dark brown water. There are some tense moments especially for those doing it the first time:
After a long hot walk down the river there is always time for a shower!
One final big obstacle before getting to the pool where we started.
Some beautiful Fynbos seen on the way back. Look at this King Protea – see the bugs inside the flower!
This was a great day in the mountains and was enjoyed by everyone!
Thanks for arranging it Beaver – Lets do it again next year!!!!
